In Prague on Sunday, a parade of embroidered shirts took place, during which hundreds of Ukrainians carried posters in their hands with words of gratitude to the Czech Republic for hospitality and help.

The Embassy of Ukraine in the Czech Republic, which organized the event, announced this on its Facebook page..

The parade of vyshyvankas in the Czech capital has been held for several years in a row on the third Sunday of May.

On Sunday, a column of people in embroidered shirts walked through the old part of the capital of the Czech Republic to the monument of St. Wenceslas (near it there is a center for helping Ukrainian refugees), where the procession participants sang Czech and Ukrainian hymns.

The Czech Republic accepted more than 300,000 refugees from Ukraine, mostly women with children. For each family member, the government pays a monthly allowance of CZK 5,000 (approx.. 6500 UAH. at the current bank rate), volunteer centers operate, refugees are provided with free travel in public transport. Almost every building where a state institution is located has a flag of Ukraine next to the national flag..
