The European Union supports the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine. The European Union does not recognize the holding of elections on the Krum Peninsula, the statement said on the official website of the European External Action Service. "The European Union has not recognized the illegal annexation of the Crimea and Sevastopol to the Russian Federation and therefore does not recognize the holding of elections on the Crimean peninsula," the statement says.. The department noted that "anyone who was elected to the Crimean peninsula and claims to represent the Crimea and Sevastopol will not be recognized as representative of these territories, which are Ukrainian".

"The EU remains unshakable in its support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine," added the European Foreign Service. Recall, September 10 in Sevastopol, the so-called election of the governor of the city. Also in the Crimea were "by-election" to the parliament of the republic.
