Ukraine and Canada step up cooperation on investigation of UIA flight tragedy in Iran

Deputy Prosecutor General Gunduz Mammadov discussed with representatives of law enforcement agencies, the diplomatic corps and forensic experts of Canada the intensification of cooperation between Ukraine and Canada, which will improve the efficiency and quality of the investigation of the UIA flight PS752 plane crash, which was shot down on January 8 near Tehran. Thus, Mammadov held an online meeting with representatives of law enforcement agencies, the diplomatic corps and forensic experts of Canada who are working on the case of the plane crash of the Ukrainian plane of UIA flight PS752, which took place in Iran on January 8, 2020.

Mammadov said that immediately after the tragedy, the Office of the Prosecutor General began criminal proceedings on the facts of premeditated murder, destruction of property and violation of flight safety rules, which led to the death of people (p.. 1 h. 2 st. 115, h. 2 st. 194, h. 3 st. 276 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
