The news that the mosaic in the main church of the Russian Ministry of Defense will be depicted, surrounded by marshals and generals, looks even less believable than just a few months ago the possibility of a world pandemic and universal quarantine looked. However, the fact remains: while Muscovites are self-isolating and monitoring morbidity statistics in the country and in the capital, the face of the Generalissimo, a person directly involved in the destruction of thousands of priests, the liquidation of churches, and the endless terror against the flock of those who still today, is being grinded out in the new Orthodox Church. Of course, the " But so brazenly, recklessly - there has never been. Even in the Stalin era, this did not happen to Stalin - and in the church! This demonstrative insanity surprisingly rallied both the liberal and the most religious community.. The head of the Ekho Moskvy radio station, Alexei Venediktov, recalls that, on Stalin’s order, “priests were killed only because they were priests” and claims that “in the church the image of Satan can only be in one form - defeated”. And the director of the Orthodox radio station " Stalin is a symbol of the anti-war regime... The proposed mosaic is a Stalinist poster filled with smalt... The Stalinist fresco and the scandal surrounding it pushed into the background a nasty joke from the same church under construction. The mosaics here will depict not only the generalissimo with the marshals, but also Vladimir Putin and his close associates, among which, of course - Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, Security Council secretary Nikolai Patrushev and FSB head Alexander Bortnikov - so we can say that there was a dense. Oddly enough, the mosaic with Putin was treated much more calmly, because the desire to curry favor with the " Well, the fact that Putin himself treats himself as an icon is also not a very big secret.. Moreover, it is clear that when Putin and Shoigu are gone, the mosaic with their image will be replaced with portraits of new trustees of the church and the Ministry of Defense. Much more dangerous is that Putin wants to leave Russia not himself, but Stalin. And not only in the Orthodox church.

Just the other day, almost at the same time that the information about the scandalous mosaic was published, a decree of the head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denis Pushilin appeared on renaming the city of Donetsk to... the city of Stalin, during the celebration of military anniversaries. And this, of course, is not a personal initiative of a person receiving direct orders from Moscow - moreover, from practically the same people and departments that drag Stalin and Putin to the Orthodox church.
