According to BelTA with reference to the Ministry of Defense of Belarus, these exercises, in accordance with the provisions of the Vienna Document 2011 on confidence-building measures and security measures, are not subject to observation. At the same time, based on the principles of transparency with regard to military activities and reciprocity, Belarus voluntarily invited representatives from three neighboring states to monitor the course of hostilities.

Regular command post exercises of the Armed Forces of Belarus are held from 6 to 12 September, 7,500 Belarusian servicemen take part, 260 armored vehicles and 30 salaletes. Training takes place at the training grounds of Brest, Minsk, Grodno and Mogilev regions.
