After a four-hour meeting of the leaders of the Union that took place in Berlin against the backdrop of the lawmakers' attempt to form a coalition after the September 24 election, he explained that the social poll confirms that 52% of Germans support a "big coalition".

In turn, Merkel assured that she also does not support the initiative of holding new elections in the country, since people have already voted. I absolutely do not support the request to vote again, if we can not do anything with the results.

Recall that following the results of the September 24 elections, the CDU / CSU block won 246 seats in the German parliament, gaining 32.
