As the minister said, the Government of Canada has always supported the support of the Ukrainian people and territorial integrity. Also, the government condemns the annexation of Crimea by Russia and the constant support of militants in eastern Ukraine.

Worldwide, Canada is negotiating with several countries about the viability and usefulness of the peacekeeping and police mission in Ukraine.

Over the past few weeks, actively negotiated with several European governments and the formulation of the question of the introduction of a peacekeeping mission to the Donbass.

Also the Foreign Minister stressed that the people of Ukraine can count on the constant and unshakable friendship and support of Canada.

As previously reported in URA-Inform, the deployment of the United Nations peacekeeping mission will help resolve the conflict in the Donbass. Ukraine firmly believes that a comprehensive settlement of the conflict can be achieved thanks to peacekeepers.
