Lessons from Vladimir Putin

All Soviet children knew that Vladimir Ilyich Lenin was not only the leader of the world proletariat, but also the best friend of the children. He established the Society of Clean Cymbals, taught the cat Vaska to jump over a chair and played cheerfully with the children at the Christmas tree. Russian children, apparently, in the near future is waiting for something similar, and it remains only to wait who will get the laurels of Vladimir Bonch-Bruevich. Because the stories on "Putin and the Children" are gradually being recruited on a thick collection, and the contents of it will not only be kisses in the stomach, "Ivan Davydov writes in the column for Snob. en.

In the framework of an undeclared election campaign, the eternal president of the Russian Federation already met in July with gifted children in the Sochi center "Sirius". He told them that the film directed by Stone looked about himself "on tapes". Then he talked with members of the youth camp "Tavrida". There, the audience was still older than in Sochi, so Putin did not talk about antique magnetic media, but gave a lecture on the sad fate of composer Schubert (Putin's version here is somewhat different from the official one, but it's much more fascinating). And finally, on September 1, the president held an "open goal-setting lesson" in Yaroslavl - in a space bridge, with the opportunity to ask questions for young spectators from other regions.

The president's actions are rarely incidental. There are no questions to the place: VRIO of the governor of the Yaroslavl region - former security guard of Putin Dmitry Mironov, he has elections on September 10, and although the clearing is cleared to shine and competitors can not be seen without a microscope, Putin's support is never superfluous. There are no questions to the operation itself: from the time of the March meeting of the opposition in Moscow, when it became clear that the protest was younger and that the young men thinking about living, and the girls, too, "Do not look weeks", preferring YouTube, where among the popular vlogors not only Sasha Spielberg, telling about the novelties of cosmetics, but also Alexei Navalny with news of corruption, the Kremlin, not without some hysteria, rushed into battle for the lost generation. With the filing of the presidential administration on the Internet, videos were posted about the fact that Navalny is Hitler today, and second-rate pop artists have recorded clips calling on young people to avoid attending rallies. Vladimir Putin himself is not embarrassed at all, since this is required for the case, pulling up his pants, running after the electronic Komsomol.

And comrades-in-arms: September 1, for example, Sergei Lavrov told MGIMO freshmen about the machinations of the West (this is, however, a tradition), and Sergei Shoigu said that the Defense Ministry "does much to make the next generation better, smarter and more talented". In particular, at least two new cadet corps are opened each year. By the way, armed with this knowledge, anyone can calculate how soon in Russia there will be no other secondary educational institutions in addition to cadet corps (spoiler: there is still time to be afraid early).

These are understandable and even a little boring thoughts. Yes, in fact, the president's speeches before the children are also not particularly bright. What is new, in addition to dubious from a historical point of view of information about the difficult sexual life of the composer Schubert, one can learn from them? In Yaroslavl, for example, Putin said that it is important to develop artificial intelligence and that the leader in this area will become the ruler of the world, explained that it is also important to choose the right profession, and "to bring the fruits of his activity to the altar of the fatherland" is also important (no, indeed, this quote, just like that and said about the "altar of the fatherland"). He promised to master the outer space, suggested that in the future the flight from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok would take half an hour, and suggested writing an essay on the future of the homeland.

I hope we will see the flow of talented anti-utopias. Yes, I still hinted that the history of Russia is studied according to Lev Gumilev, which, of course, is sad, but still not tragically. I think that any middle-class chief with the badge of "United Russia" on the lapel of the Italian jacket could make a similar speech, which, however, only emphasizes that Putin is a man of a giant team, which includes all Russian officials. Except, of course, those who lost their trust, got fired and settled.

However, a couple of lessons from an open lesson on goal-setting and we can still extract. About him, of course, goal-setting. For example, let's look at the Russian TV. At any point in time, at least one of the state channels is a political talk show, dedicated to Ukrainian ills and horrors. Or a documentary about the catastrophic state of the Ukrainian economy. On the sufferings of the Kiev pensioners, on the unrestrained growth of tariffs for housing and communal services in Vinnitsa. This all has long made no sense: the audience has decided on its likes and dislikes, some are firmly convinced that the Kiev junta is the heiress of the Nazi Reich, others are much more cautious about the propaganda efforts, but most importantly, the positions have long been formed.

Scheme in which the endless narrative of the nightmares of Ukrainians allowed to push Russia to the background and to show in contrast how we, the Russians, were fortunate and from what wise Putin and his comrades save us, does not work. But it is reproduced. I think it's not for us, ordinary Russians, but for those who invented this scheme and can not already jump off the rolled track. It is reproduced in order to convince itself that it continues to work, Russians continue to overlook Russia, and with Russia it is possible to continue to create anything, Russians without looking back. Whether a session of autopsychoterapii such, or banal self-deception, although there is a fine line.

I'll venture to assume that Putin's meetings with the children (and the Yaroslavl open lesson is obviously not the last such meeting, the children and governors seem to have been chosen as the main interlocutors of the main, though still unnamed, presidential candidate), too, something is hiding. It is a conversation of the incarnate state in a concrete person with himself, an attempt to inspire myself: I am not outdated. I'm not only past and present. The future is also me. Future with me.

This is the first of the promised lessons: he, it, a person or the state, read as you want, still able to feel some doubts. In an abstract, distant strategic perspective, the state can (perhaps, as a nightmare, but still can) imagine a situation in which there is a different future, from its "image of the future" excellent. Speaking in another language and not amenable to its manipulation. This is, rather, a positive lesson.

But there is a second, not so cheerful, which concerns a tactical perspective, not an abstract future, but the next few years, a time in which we too will live. The main presidential candidate within the framework of the election campaign (let's name things by their own names) meets with people who absolutely will not vote for him in these elections - just because of their young age. Spending time. Spends, because he does not doubt - in the tactical perspective, he is here for a long time.

Children will grow up, come to the plots, remember Schubert (and the crunch of the French roll, excuse me, and the outer space, and the ultra-high-speed flight from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok, and the altar of the fatherland) and put a tick in the necessary square. He is in no hurry and will not go anywhere..

However, one official from the mayor's office of Moscow said recently that they "project the capital for 500 years ahead". And he did not joke. They are here for a long time and seriously. And, thinking about your own future, this should be borne in mind.
