The very consent of the former Federal Chancellor of Germany Gerhard Schroder to nominate his candidacy for the Board of Directors of Rosneft has provoked undisguised irritation in the political circles of Germany. In a particularly piquant situation, the Social Democrats turned out to be the last chancellor of whom there was a nominee. On the eve of the parliamentary elections in Germany there was no better reason to blame the SPD for relations with Moscow than Schroder's agreement.

But it turned out that this was not a sensation at all. Schroeder will not just be one of the new members of the board of directors of Rosneft,. He will become the chairman of this council, that is, the "head" of the closest Putin comrade-in-arms Igor Sechin, under which, in fact, Rosneft has been established in its present form. And this, of course, is the news of the decade. A well-known Western politician, a man who should cherish his reputation, offers his services to people whose reputations have only ruins. The Chekists, who turned Russia into an authoritarian state. After all, Rosneft is not a shareholders committee of Nord Stream AG, which was headed by a former chancellor. Yes, this is also a very dubious project. But still Russian-German, connected with the desire of German business circles to provide exclusive energy cooperation with Russia. If the "Nordstream" smelled of Russian gas, then Rosneft just smells. And not oil, no. From her for a mile carries Lubyanka.

And when you think about it, the natural question arises of the purity of the Western political class and its desire to quickly return relations with Russia to its own places in order to earn even more. I think it's high time to measure this uncleanliness in shredders. When a Western politician agrees to services to Russian security officers, this is one shredder. When a Western politician says that Ukraine should comply with the Minsk agreements, despite the shelling and the presence of occupiers in our territory - it's 10 shredders. When a Western politician advises to forget about the Crimea - this is 20 shredders. When Western visitors say that our main problem is corruption, and not occupation, there are 50 shredders. Of course, it is necessary to fight corruption. But only it does not matter at all which country has occupied territories and kills citizens - corrupt or cleared of corruption. And the substitution of the issue of violation of international law and the need to call the aggressor to account for the discussion of the internal problems of the victim country of aggression is the most common unprincipled manipulation. Manipulation, which has one goal - to quickly get to the Russian money. And ever lead any board of directors in the "non-corrupt" Russia.

But when such statements of future shredders are supported by some Ukrainian politician, activist or journalist, there are already 100 shredders. Because Gerhard Schroeder by his behavior and the Western "well-wishers" of Ukraine with their statements betray values ??and principles, nothing more. And those who support the substitution of concepts in our country, betray the Ukraine itself. I hope not for Russian money, but simply for stupidity and servility.
