Protests are held in Venezuela daily. Residents of the country have protested since April, demanding the resignation of President Nicolas Maduro. People accuse him of establishing a dictatorship and bringing the country to a deep economic crisis. Private demonstrators also demand early presidential elections, full restoration of the rights of the Venezuelan parliament, and the start of the process of economic recovery. Also, the Venezuelan opposition accuses Maduro of ignoring the laws, detaining political prisoners and putting pressure on the judiciary.

As of Sunday, July 2, at least 89 people have become victims of the clash with the police. Another 750 people were injured.

According to local media, only yesterday during the clashes at the rallies in the city of Barquisimeto four protesters died. According to the mayor of the city, the demonstrators were shot by members of pro-government armed groups. At the same time, the police detained more than 1,300 people acting on the side of the opposition.

And another 250 appeared before military tribunals.

In turn, President Maduro announced his intention to amend the country's constitution and thereby resolve the crisis in Venezuela. But local oppositionists refused to participate in this process.

Recall, as reported URA-Inform, the helicopter attacked the Supreme Court building and from it into the building flew grenades. Nicholas Maduro said that a police helicopter was seized by a former pilot of Interior Minister Miguel Rodriguez Torres.
