Meeting of President of the United States of America Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin will not have significant consequences for Ukraine. This opinion was expressed in an exclusive comment by UNN by political scientist Vladimir Fesenko, adding that the "Ukrainian issue" will not enter the top three.

"This meeting is on the sidelines," these are not full-fledged negotiations, so do not expect any breakthroughs and decisions, here the main goal is acquaintance, "B said.. Fesenko.

According to the political scientist, in addition to dating during the meeting, D. Trump and B. Putin will discuss issues of bilateral relations between the US and Russia, and there are many difficult moments, "beginning with the issue of nuclear weapons limitations, missile weapons. The second is Syria. This is one of the key points that will be discussed, and then - North Korea ".

"The Ukrainian question, of course, will also be the subject of discussion, but it's not that it will not be in the first place, and even the first three will not be included. Therefore, do not expect any extraordinary solutions. Much will depend on how they perceive each other - Putin Trump and, especially, Trump Putin, "B said.. Fesenko.

According to the political scientist, if D. Trump decides that with B. Putin can agree on something, it will be an agreement to meet at some neutral venues, but, in this case, acquaintance and a general discussion.

Fesenko noted that the US side is not ready to conclude agreements on Ukraine and, most importantly, "Trump is in the Russian trap".

"Any concession - on the Ukrainian issue, on Syria, in bilateral relations, will cause a new wave of suspicions and accusations that Trump or Trump's team is working for Russia. Trump knows this very well and therefore he is insured. Before the meeting with Putin, he met with Poroshenko, and will not make any concessions. Where there can be talk of some concessions to Putin, which may cause some kind of rejection, outrage in the US, this will again provoke a wave of suspicions and accusations that Trump may have some kind of dependence on Russia. And that's why Trump will not agree to such obvious concessions to Putin, "B. Fesenko.
