The items will be disassembled after consultation with the Institute of National Memory. On Thursday, June 22, the Polish Sejm adopted amendments to the law on decommunization, which involves the demolition of monuments "glorifying communism".

At the same time, the law will not affect objects installed in cemeteries and not put up for public viewing.

At the same time, Russia has already stated that the decision of the Seimas offends the memory of those who, thanks to whom the current generation of Poles live. According to the first vice-speaker of the Russian State Duma, Ivan Melnikov, such a decision causes pain and bitterness.

"It's a shame for the current generation of Poles, insulting the memory of those who gave them the future, thanks to which they are breathing and blasphemously pressing these buttons in their Seimas," Melnikov told reporters..

Recall, in April last year in Poland came into effect the law on decommunization, which involves a ban on the propaganda of totalitarian regimes in the names of buildings, roads, streets, bridges or squares. Propaganda refers to the use of surnames, names of organizations, events or dates "symbolizing communism or any other totalitarian regime".

As reported by URA-Inform, Poland stated that for a while it is giving up Russian gas, which enters the country from Germany through the reverse of the Yamal-Europe pipeline. While the restrictions will be until June 23 and can be continued. At the same time, the reason for refusing injection is low quality of fuel.
