According to the investigation, in 2024 the man, through Telegram, established contact with an acquaintance from the temporarily occupied territory of the Donetsk region, who acted in cooperation with representatives of the Russian Federation. So, an acquaintance suggested that the accused set fire to the relay cabinets of Ukrzaliznytsia, offering $300. The man recruited another fellow countryman to carry it out.
