The court found a 24-year-old native of Donetsk region guilty of sabotage for setting fire to relay cabinets of Ukrzaliznytsia near the Darnitsa station. This was reported by the Kiev City Prosecutor's Office on Wednesday, May 20.

According to the investigation, in 2024 the man, through Telegram, established contact with an acquaintance from the temporarily occupied territory of the Donetsk region, who acted in cooperation with representatives of the Russian Federation. Previously, the men studied at the same school in the city of Toretsk.

So, an acquaintance suggested that the accused set fire to the relay cabinets of Ukrzaliznytsia, offering $300. The man recruited another fellow countryman to carry it out.
