In Kiev, in the garage, law enforcement officers discovered a huge arsenal of weapons and ammunition without the permission provided by law. This was reported by the press service of the Military Prosecutor's Office of the Central Region of Ukraine on Tuesday, August 14.

In particular, 4 hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers were identified (2 RPGs 26, 2 RPG 22), 4 MIN mines 50, 25 TNT 200 grams each, 4 400-gram TNTs, about 2 kg plastids, 27 RGD 5 grenades, 15 grenades F-1, 1 TNT, 12 electric detonators and one incendiary tube, cartridges for automatic weapons of caliber 7,62х54 mm, 6,62х39 mm and 5,45х39 tracing (more than 4 thousand pieces).

The garage is used by a former serviceman of the Kiev-2 battalion, whose detention is planned after priority investigative actions.

A petition is also being prepared to the court for the election of a preventive measure in the form of detention in respect of the suspect.

Earlier in Kiev detained a soldier of Nazgvardia, who sold weapons from the zone of environmental protection. Law enforcers seized three RPG-18 and RPG-22 grenade launchers, ten F-1 and RGD-5 grenades, a Safari pistol, more than 1,500 rounds of 7.62 mm caliber.
