In Kiev, renamed the metro station "Petrovka"

This was reported in the press service of the Kyiv city council.

As noted, the station of the Moscow metro was renamed in accordance with the name of the river "Pochayna". And as you know, it is one of the oldest in Kiev.

The corresponding decision on renaming was supported by 70 people's representatives.

At the same time, the new name was also given to the Kurenivsko-Krasnoarmeiskaya line of the Moscow subway - Obolonsko-Teremkovskaya.

"The previous title reflected only the initial draft of the line, and now it does not pass through Kurenivka.

The second part of the name ("Krasnoarmeiskaya") ceased to correspond to the above-ground toponymy after the renaming of the station "Krasnoarmeyskaya" in "Palace Ukraine" in 1993. In addition, in November 2014, Krasnoarmeyskaya Street was returned to the historical name Bolshaya Vasilkovskaya, "the Kyiv City Council.

Recall, as previously reported, "URA-Inform, in the metro metro plan to install 320 CCTV cameras, at the entrances and exits of 52 stations.
