As the press service of the Kyiv city state administration informs, the subdivision of the architectural and decorative illumination of the municipal enterprise "Kyivgorsvet" today starts preparations for the New Year holidays. Include New Year's illumination on St. Nicholas Day - December 19, - explained in KSCA.

The administration also added that festive garlands, balls, "falling ice" and "necklace" will appear on trees, cable stretches and lighting supports in the streets of Khreshchatyk, Bogdan Khmelnitsky, Hrushevsky, as well as Independence Square, Sofia and European squares.

On the buildings of the National Philharmonic, the National Music Academy. Tchaikovsky, Kyiv City State Administration, Main Post Office, Trade Union House garlands appear in the form of Ukrainian embroidery.

Recall, as reported URA-Inform, the main New Year tree in the capital will decorate 3.6 kilometers of neon garlands. Its opening is also scheduled for December 19.
