The end of the action of the limit for transfers "

From April 1, 2025, the action of the temporary limit of 150 thousand hryvnias per month is being completed for transfers between individuals of individuals.

Recall that it was introduced by the National Bank from October 1, 2024 for a six -month period. The limit concerned only the source transfers between individuals within the same bank (from a card to a card), but did not apply to volunteers, persons with a confirmed income of more than 150 thousand hryvnias, internal transfers between the client’s own accounts and transfers to legal entities.

It should be noted that in December 2024, banks signed an unlimited memorandum, which provided for a decrease in the limit of up to 50 thousand hryvnias per month for customer transfer, which were recognized as risky according to the criteria of financial institutions.

New rules for paying sick leave.

According to new amendments to Law No. 4158, from April 4, 2025, workers with several places of work (main + part -time) will be able to receive sick leave, maternity and assistance in connection with temporary disability for each place of work.

This means that now there are no restrictions on receiving social benefits part -time, regardless of the number of additional jobs.

The Pension Fund of Ukraine explained that in the event of a temporary disability not related to the production injury, the employee receives payments from each employer.

The first five days of the sick leave are paid by the employer in full (100% of the average salary), and starting from the sixth day of payment, the Pension Fund of Ukraine takes over.

If an accident occurred in production, the employer at the enterprise of which was injured, is obliged to pay for the first seventeen days of the sick leave in full, after which the financing continues the pension fund.

From April 1, electricity tariffs, gas, hot water and heating in Ukraine will remain unchanged. April is also the last month of the heating season.

Until the end of April, the household tariff for electricity remains at the level of 4.32 UAH/kWh.

For consumers who use electric heating, a preferential rate will operate-2.64 UAH/kWh, if consumption does not exceed 2000 kWh per month.

Prices for heating, hot water and gas will not change in April, because the moratorium on raising tariffs introduced during martial law continues to operate.

Gas for household consumers served in Naftogaz, in April 7.96 UAH/cube will cost. For other suppliers, the price will fluctuate from 7.79 to 9.99 UAH/Cube.

New booking rules.

The action of a delay, issued for reserved workers until December 1, 2024, expires on March 31. Consequently, from April 2025, “quick reservation” will no longer operate for critical enterprises and the standard reservation period for “actions” will be returned - 72 hours to transfer reserved workers to a special military record.

Since the reservation provided according to the old rules is valid until March 31, you first need to annul the old reservation for transferring.

Critically important enterprises can carry out this procedure every 5 days.

Changes in the VLK.

In April, the VLK decisions will be formalized in electronic format.

According to the Deputy Minister of Defense on digitalization of Ekaterina Chernogorenko, such an innovation will allow the military liable for military persons not to go with a decree on suitability or not suitability for TCC.

In particular, the information in electronic form will be sent immediately to the Obierig Register and will be displayed in “Reserve+”.

All issued documents will remain valid. If desired, the decision of the VLK can be obtained in paper form.

Recalculation and raising pensions.

For working pensioners in April, retirement will be recalculated.

We are talking about people who:.

who, after appointing / preliminary recalculation of the pension, continued to work and purchased at least 24 months of insurance experience after appointment / preliminary recalculation / pension;

who, after the appointment / preliminary recalculation of the pension, continued to work and purchased less than 24 months of insurance experience, but after the appointment / preliminary recalculation of the pension, at least two years passed.

The right to recalculate determines the insurance experience acquired on March 1 of the year, in which recalculation is recalculated.

Note that the recalculation does not apply to pensioners who are assigned a pension for length of service and has not reached 60 years.

IDP payments.

In color, the payment of internally displaced persons automatically continues. The government extended them for another six months. Also, people with the status of IDPs can issue a subsidy for rental housing. It can take advantage of people who are forced to move to a hired apartment due to hostilities.

Completion of registration on NMT.

On April 3, registration for the main session of the National Multistice (NMT), which began on March 6, is completed.

Recall that the main session of the NMT will be held during May 14 - June 25, additional - from July 14 to 25.

An additional session is open for registration from May 9 to May 14, and you can adjust the data until May 19.

Cigarettes rise in price.

In April, a new law will enter into force, increasing excise tax on tobacco products.

After the growth of excise taxes, the price per pack of cigarettes can grow by 40 hryvnias at once. At the same time, the center of economic strategy note that the increase will be 20-25 hryvnias.

As reminded of the State Tax Service of Ukraine, from April 1 to December 31, 2025, manufacturers and cigarette importers use a coefficient of 1.1 to the minimum excise tax obligation.

Until December 31, 2025 excise tax (minimum tax liability) for 1000 should be 78 euros. Excise tax (the condition of the directive) should be 60% of the cost of the pack. Therefore, the minimum cost of cigarettes with a filter will be 117.78 UAH.

At the same time, domestic cigarettes with a filter on average cost 96.79 UAH (state start data). Therefore, the pack should rise in price by at least 21 UAH. The rise in price will not stop at this.
