Who needs to apply for a subsidy during the unheated season?.

The Fund explained that in May 2026, the PFU authorities will determine the eligibility of households to receive a housing subsidy for the period until April 30, 2027.

Thus, for households that will be eligible for payment, the amount of the subsidy for the next period 2026-2027 will be calculated automatically.

The PFU noted that for certain categories of citizens, housing subsidies for the next period are assigned upon application. You need to apply if:.

the applicant (household member) rents residential premises for which he pays utilities;

the number of persons living in a household is less than the number registered;

there are internally displaced persons in the household (in case of change of residence);

a household applies for a housing subsidy for the purchase of liquefied gas, solid and liquid heating household fuel.

How to apply for a subsidy.

You can apply for a housing subsidy in the following ways:.

in person - to the service center of the Pension Fund of Ukraine;

by mail - to the address of the territorial body of the PFU;

online - through the PFU electronic services web portal or the Pension Fund mobile application.
