The department explained that citizens of Ukraine aged 18 to 25 who entered into a contract with the Defense Forces for one year and retired after its completion are guaranteed the right to a deferment from conscription. The Cabinet of Ministers approved the mechanism for its registration.
To obtain a deferment, the following algorithm is provided:.
Submitting an application. To receive a deferment, military personnel must personally submit an application addressed to the head of the district (city) territorial center for recruitment and social support (TCC and SP) at the place of military registration.
Required documents. The application must only be accompanied by a document confirming military service under a contract for a period of one year and the grounds for dismissal from military service.
Simplified procedure. The issue of granting this type of deferment does not require consideration by a special commission at the TCC and SP.
Clear deadlines. The application is subject to mandatory registration no later than within one working day from the date of receipt.
