In the Dnepropetrovsk region, a man was transporting a piece of ammunition on a train, and when he arrived at his destination, he called emergency services. The fact of the incident was confirmed by the police of the Dnepropetrovsk region, they told Suspilny.

The local Telegram channel " The police told Suspilny that he found the ammunition in the field.

He took him by train to Volnogorsk. Already at the Volnogorsk station, as reported online, the man left the find on the fence and only then called the police and the State Emergency Service.

The police reported that the fragment was without combat kit and did not pose a threat.

The State Emergency Service previously told what to do if you find a suspicious object that looks like a mine or ammunition that did not explode. In such cases, you must adhere to the following rules.

Keep your distance and do not get close:.

do not touch, approach or move the object;

move away at least 100-300 m. If an object is found in a house, yard or entrance, immediately leave the danger zone and move to a safe distance;

If possible and subject to safety, mark the location of the find with visible non-metallic objects to warn others.

Immediately notify the appropriate authorities:.

State Emergency Service of Ukraine (Rescue Service) - 101;

National Police of Ukraine - 102.

When calling, clearly indicate your name and contact phone number; exact location of the find (address, landmarks); a brief description of the object (looks like a piece of drone, missile, or ammunition; approximate size; presence of smoke, extraneous sounds, odor).

Warn others and wait for services to arrive:.

If possible, warn people nearby about the danger and do not allow them to approach the location of the find.

do not try to neutralize or examine the object yourself;

wait for the arrival of authorized services at a safe distance.

The State Emergency Service also noted that in such cases it is strictly prohibited:.

approach, take photos or shoot videos;

fill with liquids, cover with soil or cover;

use means of communication near the object.
