In Dnepr, the court took preventive measures for two of the three employees of the territorial center for recruitment and social support (TCK SP), who are suspected of causing fatal injuries to 55-year-old Oleg Lesin.

One of the suspects was placed in a pre-trial detention center without the possibility of posting bail, the second - the hearing of the case was postponed to February 10. The third defendant will also remain in custody for 60 days without setting bail.. Suspilne reports this..

According to the prosecutor of the Dnepropetrovsk specialized prosecutor's office in the field of defense of the Eastern region Nikolai Kovbasa, TCC workers found the victim on the street and decided to take him to the military medical commission (MMC) of the Dnepropetrovsk region. However, instead of the nearest hospital, which is located half a kilometer away, the man was transported to a distance of almost three kilometers.

“The video shows that the suspects arrived at the hospital around 22:42, and the call to lines 102 and 103 was made only at 0:03. The police officer on duty tried to revive the victim, but there was no pulse,” the prosecutor noted..

The lawyer of one of the suspects, Denis Khripunov, emphasized that the accusation is based on the interrogation of a police officer, and there is no evidence yet, such as video from body cameras or forensic examination.

Law enforcement officers of the Dnepropetrovsk region detained three TCC workers suspected of causing fatal injuries. They are charged with committing a crime under Part 2 of Article 121 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. A preliminary examination showed that death was caused by a head injury.

Local law enforcement officers inspected the scene and seized a vehicle with traces of the victim’s blood and other material evidence.. The Dnepropetrovsk regional TCC and SP reported that the pre-trial investigation is ongoing and the circumstances of the incident are being established.

According to a relative of the deceased, Svetlana, the man went out for a walk with his dog on the evening of February 6 and did not return. To find him, the family watched surveillance video from a neighboring house..

Let us remind you that the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights Dmitry Lubinets said that over the past year there has been an avalanche of complaints about the actions of the TCC in relation to those liable for military service. In particular, he believes that it is necessary to strengthen control over the fact that TCC and SP employees wear body cameras.
