The SvitloDim program has been launched in Ukraine, which provides state assistance for apartment buildings for autonomous power supply during long power outages. Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Sviridenko announced this on Wednesday, January 28.. According to her, the government has adopted an additional package of decisions to support people and businesses in conditions of limited energy supply.. One of the key elements was the SvitloDim program, which allows apartment buildings to receive from 100 to 300 thousand hryvnia for the purchase of generators, batteries, inverters and other energy equipment. Associations of co-owners of houses (housing associations) and managers of apartment buildings of any form of ownership can submit an application through the Diya portal. A commission under the Ministry of Development reviews applications and makes a decision on providing assistance.

Products must be used within 45 days. The program will operate first in communities with an emergency situation in the energy sector, starting with Kyiv and the Kyiv region. The Ministry of Development will additionally announce the start of filing applications for assistance..
