Labor contract for home workers: what should be spelled out in the document

Labor relations between employees and employers in Ukraine are regulated by the relevant legislation. In 2023, the Verkhovna Rada adopted a bill designed to resolve the work of pets. Specialists of the Southeast Interregional Department of the State Labor Service told what information the employment contract concluded with a home employee should contain.

The Derzhprazi explained that in accordance with Article 173-3 of the Code of Laws on the Labor of Ukraine, in an employment contract concluded with a home employee, must necessarily indicate:.

surname, first name, patronymic and addresses of the employer and home employee;

Place of work;

The start date of the employment contract, and in the case of the conclusion of a fixed -term employment contract, is the term of its validity;

Description of the type and nature of work in a form sufficient for a person understanding without special professional knowledge of the volume of his labor duties;

Conditions of remuneration (its size, frequency, payment terms, method of calculation, payment of work at night and overtime, on weekends, holidays and non -working days);



The duration of working time and rest time, the procedure for involving overtime work, work on weekends, holidays and non -working days;

Conditions for the provision of annual paid leave;

Methods of exchange of information.

Experts added that an employment contract concluded with a home employee may also provide for additional, except for the law provided for by law, guarantees, social benefits and mutual obligations of the parties.
