Yesterday, August 18, the Inclusivity Route was opened in exactly the barrier space 1.5 km long, which connected all the most important locations of the city to make them available to veterans and low-mobility groups, the press service of the Rukh without bar'riv says. We are talking about connecting TsNAP with all admin services, ova, business carrier for veterans and the central street of the city-Simone Petlyura.

This route was built at the expense of private investors, its length exceeds the length of the South Bridge in Kyiv. The project has become an example when the initiative to transform Ukrainian cities into a human -center barrier -free environment does not come from power, but from Ukrainian business. However, the authorities also took part in the implementation of this space. She took over the replacement of the road surface, landscaping and improvement of the surrounding territories.

The route in Rivne was laid as part of the national project " The city joined him as a pilot. The developers of the Rivne space were inspired by examples of Denmark, Switzerland and the Netherlands.

What has already been done within the framework of this project:.

The pedestrian zones are expanded;

Reduced borders;

Equipped increased transitions;

The coating has been replaced;

Laid 3000 m? new paving stones;

1000 tons of garbage and old asphalt were taken out;

33 hatches are raised;

Replaced 400 curbs;

Prepared 14 flower beds and 22 holes for trees;

Tactile tiles laid out 17 pedestrian crossings;

Modern sensory terminals were installed in the center and business carrings for convenient access to information.

But working with this route has not yet been completed. The plans - so that its length reaches 4.5 km, and so that it connects other main objects of the city, in particular the Independence Square and the hospital for children and adults.
