Ukrainians have the right to insurance payments if they were injured due to an accident in production or occupational disease. The Main Directorate of the Pension Fund of Ukraine (PFU) in the Donetsk region told whether a person who is simultaneously works on the terms of an employment contract at three enterprises can receive temporary disability benefits.

The PFU explained that the provision of insured persons (including those who carry out entrepreneurial or other activities and at the same time work under the terms of the employment contract) of temporary disability benefits, pregnancy and childbirth both at the main place of work (activity) and the place of work in combination are provided for by Law No. 4158-I “on amendments to some legislative acts of Ukraine regarding the comprehensive state-owned state.
" At the same time, the changes do not provide restrictions on the number of jobs in the part -time of the insured persons for whom they have the right to receive insurance payments, ”the report said.
PFU added that if a person has lost their ability to work due to an accident and at the same time is in labor relations with another insured (at a different place of work, than where the accident occurred), such a policyholder pays the victim for his own temporary disability at his own expense.
" From the sixth day of temporary disability, the financing of sick leave is carried out by the Pension Fund of Ukraine, ”the report said.
The fund noted that the allowance for temporary disability (as a result of an accident in production/occupational disease) is assigned and paid by an employer who has an insured event on social insurance from an accident in the amount of 100% of the average salary. At the same time, the first seventeen days of temporary disability are paid by this employer for their own funds.
