Ukrainians continue to receive pensions and other social payments. Many of our citizens were forced to leave their homes and became internally displaced persons (IDS). The Ministry of Social Policy explained that the OPPP pensions that received payments to a full -scale invasion and for more than a year did not use the account, will be stored in the Pension Fund of Ukraine (PFU).

" The changes provide for the transfer of pension funds of internally displaced persons (IDP), who have not used their accounts for more than a year or have not been identified, for storage to the Pension Fund of Ukraine, ”the report said.

The department added that on the accounts of such pensioners in Oshcadbank as of October 1, 2023, more than 10 billion hryvnias were accumulated, which remained without movement, since people did not use cards and did not interact with the bank.

" If the owners of the funds are alive or they have legal heirs (relatives who are entitled to receive this money), they can receive funds with one payment in full, ”the report said.

The Ministry of Social Policy noted that this norm applies exclusively to the funds of those recipients of pensions that simultaneously comply with the following conditions:.

Are (or were) internally displaced persons (IDP) from the territories occupied until February 24, 2022.

Received a pension as IDS before the start of a full -scale invasion.

They have not used a pension account for more than one year or did not have a physical identification for more than six months.

The department noted that the persons who have passed the physical identification or pass it until the actual transfer of funds from the account to the Pension Fund remains in the bank account and are not transferred to PFUs.

What can change for pension recipients.

After the lists of lists of the Pension Fund and their transfer to Oschadbank, the bank will transfer funds on a schedule that will establish the Ministry of Finance in agreement with the National Bank of Ukraine. The Ministry of Social Policy will coordinate the process and operational monitoring of the movement of funds.

The right to a pension and the full amount of accrued funds is retained for the owner. To receive the returned pensions, it will be necessary to submit an application to the Pension Fund of Ukraine (personally, through the webportal PFU, or in Oschadbank during the IDDENSION). After submitting the application, the funds are paid at the same time in full at the bank account.

In the event of the death of the recipient, unpaid funds can receive his relatives (heirs).
