The UN Monitoring Mission of Human Rights in Ukraine published data indicating a significant growth of children's casualties due to war, as well as risk growth for children who unite online infancy with a fatal outcome. It is reported on Saturday, July 5, the UN Children's Fund (UNICEF).

. This indicator is three times higher than the number of cases for the previous quarter, when 73 cases of wounds and death of children were recorded. The largest number of victims was in April - 97 children, which became the highest monthly indicator since June 2022.

. At the same time, active fighting in the northeastern and eastern regions of the country lead to mass waves of internal movement of the population and the growth of humanitarian needs, including health, psychosocial care and wider support of children, ”the organization said in a statement.

Ukrainian law enforcement officers report 103 detained children - 91 guys and 12 girls, among which at least seven people are in places of imprisonment, ”the UN mission says.
