Ukrainians receive pensions and other social payments. Some pensioners must undergo a physical identification procedure to further receive pensions. The Main Directorate of the Pension Fund of Ukraine (PFU) in the Luhansk region told how pensioners have to identify and what methods are there for this.

Who should undergo physical identification.

The PFU explained that in accordance with the resolution of Cabinet No. 299 “On some features of the payment of pensions (monthly lifelong cash content) and insurance payments on industrial accidents and professional disease that entailed the loss of working capacity”, the procedure for the payment of pensions (monthly lifelong monetary content) and insurance payments for insurance from the unfortunate occasion.

This procedure determines the mechanism for the payment of pensions to persons who:.

temporarily live abroad of Ukraine;

The territories of Ukraine, which are living in the temporarily occupied by the Russian Federation, included in the list of territories on which combat operations or temporarily occupied by Russia, approved by Minreintegration, are underway, for which the date of completion of the temporary occupation is not determined;

leaving the temporarily occupied territories (here) and living in the territory controlled by Ukraine.

PFU emphasized that the effect of this procedure does not apply to citizens of Ukraine temporarily residing outside Ukraine and to which a pension or insurance payments are paid on the terms of international treaties of Ukraine, the consent of which is granted to the Verkhovna Rada.

How to get physical identification.

The fund noted that in accordance with paragraph 6 of the Procedure, recipients temporarily residing outside Ukraine and residing on the payment of pensions, insurance payments are provided provided for the person of physical identification until December 31 of each calendar year.

The physical identification is equated:.

Authorization in the personal electronic office on the web portal of electronic services PFU using the remote qualified electronic signature “. PIDSIS \;

Identification of a person using a video conferences conducted by the territorial body of the PFU in compliance with the requirements of the legislation in the field of electronic trust services, during the session of which identification documents are presented, in accordance with the procedure established by the board of the Fund in agreement with the Ministry of Social Policy and the Ministry of Social.

A certificate in the prescribed manner on the appeal of a recipient temporarily living abroad corresponding to a foreign diplomatic institution of Ukraine that a person is alive.

The fund explained that the document on the certificate of the fact that the individual is a living person, together with a person’s written statement, can be drawn up in an arbitrary form.

The document should be sent by registered mail or mail with the declared value of the territorial body of the PFU at the location.

An application for extending the payment of a pension together with a scanned copy of the document on the certificate of the fact that the person is alive, corresponds to the original document and is suitable for the perception of its content, can be submitted through the web portal PFU. To do this, you can use the qualification electronic signature.
