The government has stopped the functioning of the gentry for drivers transporting humanitarian goods. This was reported by the Ministry of Development of Commons and Territories (Ministry of Development) on its Telegram channel on Friday, February 28. In accordance with amendments to Decree No. 57, approved at a government meeting on Thursday, drivers following humanitarian and medical cargo can cross the border on a common basis, and not on registration in the gentry system. Thus, drivers following medical and humanitarian goods should have other grounds for crossing the border, since the Ministry of Defense and the regional military administrations will not bring drivers into the gentry system. The government entrusted the Ministry of Social Policy, which forms a policy in the field of humanitarian aid, together with the Ministry of Defense to develop a mechanism for departure for the humanities of military liable men. Since 2022, the Shlyakh system has been functioning for registration for the departure of commercial transport drivers of licensed carriers and drivers following humanitarian cargoes.
