He met with Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and President Sergio Mattarella. The main topics of discussion were strengthening Ukraine's defense capabilities, in particular, its air defense and preparation for the international Conference on the restoration of Ukraine.

It also became known that Ukraine plans to purchase air defense from Italy for income from Russian assets.
