Due to the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, general mobilization and martial law continue in Ukraine. Men liable for military service who receive summonses are subject to mobilization.

The Verkhovna Rada adopted in the second reading bill No. 10062 “On amendments to certain laws of Ukraine to improve the procedure for processing and using data in state registers for military registration and acquiring the status of a war veteran during martial law”. The Ministry of Defense explained what information is contained in the Oberig registry and how it is protected.

What information is in the Oberig register?.

The Ministry of Defense explained that the register contains information (it is not exhaustive) about conscripts, those liable for military service and reservists:.

Last name, first name, patronymic, gender.

Passport data.

Location.

Marital status, information about family members.

Information about education, specialization.

Health status.

Place of work.

Information about criminal record, criminal liability.

How is the Oberig registry protected?.

The Ministry of Defense explained that the registry received a certificate of compliance with the ICSI (comprehensive information security system).

Also, each action is certified by a qualified electronic signature.

The department added that access to the Oberig registry is not public - only structures specified by law have it..

We previously wrote about whether they will stop serving summonses on the street when the electronic register of those liable for military service goes live.
