According to the Ukrainian language dictionary, the correct literary version is the word “navzaєm”. When using it, the emphasis should be on the second syllable. However, the word “mutually” is also literary, although it looks like a tracing paper from Russian.

The word “name” is used today in different areas of life - both in informal communication and at work.. “Navzayem” is a universal response to wishes, greetings, compliments, etc.. , since the main purpose of the word is to emphasize mutual understanding, mutual respect and mutual benefit.

The word “mutually” is in the modern Ukrainian dictionary, and a synonym for the word navzaem - means mutual feelings, mutual action. The adverb “mutually” is used with emphasis on the second syllable.

However, despite the fact that this is a literary word, it is now used less frequently due to its similarity with the Russian version - there is a very similar sounding word “mutually”.

Ukrainian should become the main language of communication in the everyday life of Ukrainians, and by 2030, 80% of citizens will use Ukrainian both in the public environment and in everyday life. These are the target indicators of the target national-cultural program to ensure the comprehensive development and functioning of the Ukrainian language as the state language in all spheres of public life for the period until 2030.
