The joint coordination center in Istanbul during a meeting of representatives of the UN, Ukraine, Turkey and Russia could not reach an agreement on issuing permits for new vessels to participate in the Black Sea Grain Initiative, reports Bloomberg.

UN spokesman Farhan Haq said there will be a top-level meeting next week during which discussions will continue.

According to him, daily inspection work is underway on previously agreed vessels..

In recent weeks, the movement of ships through the Ukrainian grain corridor has been repeatedly interrupted due to the actions of the Russian Federation..
