The Security Service of Ukraine detained a traitor who sent intelligence about the defense of Kyiv to the Russian telegram bot. The SBU reported this on Telegram.

An accomplice of the Russians was detained as a result of a special operation in Kyiv and Donetsk region. The attacker turned out to be a resident of the capital, who, at the beginning of a full-scale invasion, collected information for the enemy about the locations of the defense forces in the city. To do this, he traveled around the streets and studied the situation near Ukrainian military facilities.. The received information was sent through a chat bot controlled by the Russian special service in the Telegram messenger.

Subsequently, trying to avoid responsibility, the defendant mobilized into the ranks of one of the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine operating in the Avdiivka direction.. However, the SBU officers caught the attacker in a timely manner, documented the criminal activity in stages and detained him in one of the front-line cities of the region.. During searches, a mobile phone was found on the detainee with confirmation of the transfer of classified information to the aggressor.

Measures to expose the traitor were carried out by cyber specialists of the SBU under the procedural leadership of the specialized prosecutor's office in the field of defense of the Central Region.
