Six settlements of Ukraine, which suffered massive destruction during the Russian invasion, will be restored according to a comprehensive principle as part of a pilot project, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmigal announced at a government meeting on April 25.

The list included:.

town. Borodyanka, Kyiv region,.

Moshchun village, Kyiv region,.

the city of Trostyanets in the Sumy region,.

the village of Posad-Pokrovskoye in the Kherson region,.

Tsirkuny village, Kharkiv region.

the village of Yahodnoye in the Chernihiv region.

“All these settlements experienced terrible destruction.. Now they will be restored in the complex. This means that they will not restore individual buildings and structures, but all with a systematic approach, a new layout and a complete transformation of these settlements,” Shmihal said..

Other communities will rebuild according to other schemes, and the Build back better system means finding the most effective approaches that will ensure transparency, efficiency, consistency and speed of recovery at the same time.



Shmigal added that the Rapid Recovery Plan for this year has five priorities and provides for hundreds of different projects, hundreds of cities and towns where it will take place simultaneously..

Earlier, the European Commission announced that it would allocate one billion euros for the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine as part of the Rapid Recovery program..
