They noted that foreign documents are accepted without an apostille, if such a practice was in effect before the war..

That is, documents created or certified on the territory of foreign states are accepted on the territory of Ukraine without a special certificate, if such a practice existed as of February 24, 2022 in accordance with international treaties of Ukraine.

This was approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 107 of February 04, 2023.

By this decision of the government, it was established that during the martial law in Ukraine and for another 6 months after it, documents that were accepted without an apostille before February 24, 2022 continue to be accepted without an apostille.

Due to the war that Russia started, many Ukrainians were forced to leave their homes and go abroad, and some of them could have expired their passports there.. Recall how to extend the validity of a passport outside Ukraine.
