The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted as a basis the draft laws that should help improve the work of military medical commissions. We are talking about draft law No. 9158 on improving the issues of paperwork and treatment of military personnel during martial law and draft law No. 9154 on improving the work of military medical commissions. It is also planned to establish a norm for military personnel who, according to the conclusion of the VVK, have the right to leave for treatment due to illness or are declared unfit for military service, on the possibility of sending them to the territorial recruitment and social support center, to the place of vacation or to draw up documents for dismissal.

9154 provides that military medical commissions can be created not only at territorial recruitment and social support centers and health care institutions of the security and defense sector, but also at state and municipal health care institutions.
