The basis for the appointment of benefits for temporary disability is a certificate of incapacity for work, formed on the basis of a medical report on temporary incapacity for work or a document certifying the fact of the adoption of a child, the establishment of custody of a child.

Temporary disability benefit is paid to insured persons depending on the length of service in the amount of:.

50% of the average salary (income) - for insured persons with insurance experience up to 3 years;

60% of the average salary - for insured persons with insurance experience from 3 to 5 years;

70% of the average salary - for insured persons with insurance experience from 5 to 8 years;

100% of the average salary (income) - for insured persons with more than 8 years of insurance experience.

Also, 100% of the average salary (income) is paid to insured persons:.

assigned to 1-3 categories of persons affected by the Chernobyl disaster;

one of the parents or a person who replaces them, who is caring for a sick child under the age of 14 who suffered as a result of the Chernobyl disaster;

war veterans, injured participants in the Revolution of Dignity and family members of the fallen (deceased) war veterans, Defenders and Defenders of Ukraine;

persons classified as victims of Nazi persecution;

eligible donors;

persons rehabilitated in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "

The amount of wages (income) of the insured person who is an employee or gig specialist of a Diya City resident, from whom insurance premiums are actually paid, regardless of the length of service.

In order to receive sick leave funding from the PFC, the employer still needs to submit an application for a calculation containing information on the funds accrued to the insured persons. Conditions of payments for hospital workers have not changed.

Payment for disability certificates is made, as it was before, for five days at the expense of own funds, starting from the sixth day - at the expense of insurance funds.

PFU provides financing to policyholders within three working days after receipt of the application-calculation.
