Due to the full-scale military invasion of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, the level of vaccination of children has decreased. It is below the WHO recommendation. In Ukraine, vaccination against ten infectious diseases is provided for by the National Immunization Schedule, which can be obtained free of charge from a family doctor or pediatrician. It is reported by the Ministry of Health.
The ministry noted that following the results of two months of 2023, 13.2% (of the annual plan) of children were vaccinated against tuberculosis (BCG), 15.6% received one dose of vaccination against measles, mumps, rubella (MMR), received three doses.
