The court arrested the corporate rights of three enterprises that appropriated the subsoil of the Sakhalin oil and gas field in the Kharkiv region. This is reported by the official website of the State Bureau of Investigation.

We are talking about LLC Sakhalinskoye, Sirius-1 and East Europe Petroleum. These are the enterprises of the former people's deputy and the Russian oligarch. The corporate rights of these LLCs were transferred to the management of the National Agency of Ukraine for the identification, search and asset management (ARMA).

In February 2023, the State Bureau of Investigation, together with the SBU, exposed former officials who received illegal super profits from gas production from state subsoil. The amount of damage to the state can reach hundreds of millions of hryvnias.

Law enforcers conducted searches at the former People's Deputy of Ukraine of the VIII convocation. He, by prior agreement with officials of PJSC NAK Nedra Ukrainy, Gosgeonedra, Sakhalinskoye LLC and commercial structures, in the period from 2003 to 2022, actually appropriated state minerals.

Under the patronage of the former people's deputy, state structures provided special permits for gas production in blatant violation of procedures. As a result, raw materials cost much less on paper, and real production volumes were also underestimated.. The organizers of the deal pocketed the difference.

Due to the illegal activities of officials of PJSC NAC Nedra Ukrainy and a number of commercial structures, Ukraine de facto lost the right to the Sakhalin oil and gas field. Despite the fact that over 1 billion rubles were spent from the state budget for the development of this field.. UAH.

According to geologists, gas deposits at the Sakhalin field amount to at least 15 billion cubic meters. This is about half of the annual gas consumption in Ukraine.

Investigation continues on the fact of abuse of official position, which entailed grave consequences (h. 2 st. 364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
