Despite the war, Ukrainians continue to receive pensions and other social benefits. Indexation of pensions took place in March, and recalculation of pension payments for working pensioners is planned in April. This was announced by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmigal, writes the publication "
He stressed that in April, automatic recalculation of pensions for working pensioners will be made, taking into account the increased length of service..
" Additional age-related payments, the introduction of which was once initiated by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, also remain in force,"
It should be noted that 2.7 million people out of 10.7 million pensioners in total continue to work in Ukraine.. But the increase will affect only 600,000 Ukrainians who continue to work..

Recalculation of the pension will be carried out for persons who, after appointment / preliminary recalculation, continued to work and received the right to recalculate as of March 1, 2023 (t. either acquired 24 months of insurance experience, or two years have passed since the appointment of a pension or preliminary recalculation).
The procedure for recalculating pension payments is being planned, funds are provided for this in the budget of Ukraine. Pensioners do not need to apply to the Pension Fund of Ukraine (PFU) for recalculation. The procedure is fully automatic.
Only the estimated amount of payments increases, excluding increases and additional surcharges. The higher the salary, the more pension payments will be after recalculation.
Since the FSI receives statistics late, the pension increase will actually be credited with a delay. The lost amount will be included in the following pension payments.
Earlier we wrote that in Ukraine some categories of citizens will be assigned pensions automatically..
