The Security Service of Ukraine has established that the Russian Federation involves minors in subversive activities in our country, even during the war. In particular, the special service blocked the criminal actions of a group of teenagers involved in a series of anonymous reports about pseudo-mining in Kyiv and other regions, the SBU reported..

“Most of all, teenagers “mined” the buildings of state authorities, as well as social infrastructure facilities. In October last year, they simultaneously reported fake mining of 14 local courts,” the SBU noted..

The investigation found that the Russian special services controlled the criminal actions of teenagers remotely. For this, a special online community was created.. Underage residents of different regions of Ukraine were regularly added to it..

“It was on the instructions of the aggressor that the teenagers periodically sent false messages about “mining” to the e-mail addresses of state institutions.. Thus, the enemy tried to undermine the internal situation in Ukraine,” the Ukrainian special service added..

According to the SBU, the mailing was carried out on behalf of unauthorized persons.. At the same time, special computer programs were used so that you could hide your location.. SBU officers managed to expose the organizer of the group. It turned out to be a teenager from Chernihiv region. He was in contact with a representative of the Russian intelligence service, who contacted the teenager via messenger. Through him, the enemy gave tasks. During a search at the place of residence of the miner, they found a mobile phone and a computer with evidence of illegal activities and communication with the enemy.

Law enforcers filed a case. 2 st. 259 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (knowingly false report about a threat to the security of citizens, destruction or damage to critical infrastructure, buildings or structures that ensure the functioning of authorities, healthcare institutions, education, or if a false report caused serious consequences or was committed repeatedly).

The sanction of the article provides for up to 8 years in prison. Moreover, if a minor reported fake mining, then his parents will be responsible for this.
