Among Ukrainians, from June last year to February 2023, the approval of the activities of most central and local authorities fell again.. This is especially true of the Verkhovna Rada, the Cabinet of Ministers and Defense Minister Alexei Reznikov, according to a sociological study conducted by the Rating group commissioned by the International Republican Institute.

As of the beginning of February, the residents of our state trusted President Volodymyr Zelensky most of all. 58% of respondents fully approve of his work, 33% rather approve, 4% rather disapprove, and 3% disapprove at all. The level of positive attitude has not changed much.

The support of a large number of people in their activities is also retained by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmitry Kuleba - complete from 44% of respondents, and overwhelming - from 32%. At the same time, negative ratings among study participants increased by 5%..

Attitudes towards the work of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine have hardly changed - 31% of respondents fully approve of it, 40% rather approve. Positive ratings fell 1%.

Thus, the actions of the Verkhovna Rada are fully supported by only 9% (against 10% in June), but rather supported by 32% (against 43%). Overall approval rate fell 12%. In February, 27% of polled Ukrainians rather disapproved of the activity of the parliament, 21% of the study participants disapproved of it at all.

Overall approval of Reznikov's actions dropped from 37% to 26% among those surveyed in about eight months, while overwhelming approval dropped from 38% to 36%.. That is, positive reviews decreased by 13%. Rather, 13% of respondents assessed the work of the Minister of Defense negatively last month, and 7% - completely negatively..

In general, the activities of the Cabinet of Ministers chaired by Denys Shmyhal were supported by 8% fewer survey participants.. Full approval was 13% (down 3%), but rather approval was 40% (down 5%). In February, 16% of respondents did not quite like the work of the government, and 10% did not like it at all.

Significantly lost positive ratings and local authorities (by 11%). Their work is fully approved by 23% of respondents (against 28% in June), rather approved by 34% (against 40%). Mostly do not support the actions of local authorities 20%, do not support at all - 17%.

In addition, the approval of the actions of the police decreased by 5%. 30% of the respondents spoke very well about their work (against 36% in June), rather well - 40% (against 39%).

Among all Ukrainian structures, the Armed Forces still have the most approval among the citizens of the state - 89% of the full and 9% of the predominant. Statistics on the Armed Forces of Ukraine have not changed much since the summer of 2022.

At the same time, in many questions more positive answers were received in the west of Ukraine, and less in the east. Although there are other ratios.

The survey was conducted throughout Ukraine (with the exception of the occupied territories of Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk regions) from February 1 to February 5, 2023 by interview method based on a random sample of numbers.

In total, about 2,000 residents of Ukraine aged 18 and older were interviewed. The sample does not include citizens currently outside the state. The obtained survey data are weighted by regional and age indicators using the data of the State Statistics Service of Ukraine as of January 1, 2021. The error of representativeness does not exceed 2%. Respondent reach ratio – 16%.
