Over the past day, the Russians shelled the Kherson region more than seventy times, said the head of the OVA Alexander Prokudin. As a result of the shelling, civilians were killed, including children.

“Over the past day, the enemy carried out 74 attacks, firing 346 shells from heavy artillery and Grads.. The enemy fired on the city of Kherson four times,” Prokudin noted..

In particular, 23 enemy shells hit the regional center. The enemy targeted residential areas and damaged apartment and private houses.

Three people died as a result of enemy shelling. Two of them are children.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the occupiers are trying to create conditions for going on the offensive in certain areas of the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. Thus, over the past 24 hours, the enemy has carried out artillery shelling of more than 35 districts of settlements.. Among them are Novoselka, Vremovka, Donetsk region; Zheleznodorozhnoye, Gulyaipole, Kamianske, Zaporizhia region, as well as Vesele, Berislav, Chernobaevka, Antonovka, Kherson region and Kherson. There are civilian casualties and damage to civilian infrastructure.
