Due to the military invasion of the Russian Federation, the educational process in Ukraine has changed. In particular, many schools were forced to switch to distance learning.. The Ministry of Education and Science reported that schoolchildren who study in the fourth and ninth grades were exempted from passing the state final certification (DPA).

The ministry emphasized that order No. 19 “On exemption from passing the state final certification of students completing primary and basic general secondary education in the 2022/2023 academic year” came into force.

“The order was prepared in order to preserve the life and health of students in martial law, in accordance with Article 17 of the Law of Ukraine “On complete general secondary education”, Decree of the President of Ukraine dated February 24, 2022 No. 64/2022 “On the introduction of martial law in Ukraine”, approved.

Earlier, we wrote that in 2022 the Ministry of Education canceled the UPE for graduates of the 11th grade due to the full-scale Russian invasion - admissions to educational institutions were based on the National Multi-subject Test.
