Medical examination of reservists: who should pass it.

Medical examination of reservists is carried out:.

from among the military reserve by decision of the military commissar, head of the TCC - VVK of the military commissariat, VVK of the TCC, garrison, hospital VVK;

from among military servicemen who were dismissed from military service by decision of the commander of a military unit - garrison, hospital VVK.

Medical examination of the reservists from among the flight personnel, the air accident is carried out in accordance with the requirements of Section III of the Regulations.

When is the medical examination.

Medical examination of reservists (except for flight personnel, AP) is carried out upon admission to service in the military reserve and before the conclusion of the next contract.

A medical examination is carried out by decision of the commander of the military unit if it is impossible for the reservist to fulfill the duties of appointment for health reasons.

Which doctors should examine reservists and which tests should be taken.

Before a medical examination, citizens considered candidates for service in the military reserve undergo:.

general blood analysis;

general urine analysis;

biochemical analysis (sugar, bilirubin, alanine aminotransferase (ALT);

serological blood test for: antibodies to human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), antigen to hepatitis B virus (HBsAg), antibodies to hepatitis C virus (anti-HCV), microprecipitation reaction with cardiolipin antigen (RW);

determination of blood group and Rh-affiliation;

x-ray (fluorographic) examination of the chest;

ECG.

Other studies can be carried out if necessary.. The order states that all candidates must provide a certificate of mandatory preliminary and periodic psychiatric examinations, a certificate of preventive narcological examination.

Each reservist is examined by such doctors: surgeon, therapist, neuropathologist, psychiatrist, ophthalmologist, otorhinolaryngologist, dentist, dermatologist. According to medical indications, the reservist may be examined by doctors of other specialties.

Who decides on the suitability or unsuitability of a reservist.

An Examination and Medical Examination Card is created for each candidate. The assessment of the health status of candidates for military service in the reserve is carried out in accordance with the articles of the Diseases List and TDV.

After a medical examination, the VVK makes a decision: "

Persons liable for military service, dismissed from military service for health reasons, are considered candidates for service in the military reserve in case of their recovery.

What Happens After a Medical Examination.

The decision of the VVK on the suitability of a candidate for service in the military reserve is drawn up with a certificate of the VVK in two copies, is not subject to approval by the regular VVK and is valid for six months from the date of the medical examination. The first copies of the issued certificate are attached to the personal file of the reservist, the second copies remain in the garrison (hospital) VVK, in the VVK TCC as an appendix to the book of minutes of the VVK meeting.

When undergoing a medical examination upon admission to service in the military reserve in the event of a decision by the VVK on unsuitability for service in the military reserve, the causal relationship of the disease is not established.

Reservists are under medical care in medical institutions of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. In the event of a disease (injury) in a reservist who is at the training camp, inpatient treatment (day hospital) is carried out in a military medical institution in the direction of the commander of the unit (meeting) to a certain end result of the disease.

After the end of treatment, leave for health reasons, exemption from military service duties is not granted, such persons are exempted from fees.

In the event of an illness (consequences of an injury) with a reservist who is undergoing training, which, according to the articles of the Disease Schedule, provide for unsuitability (limited suitability) for military service, the VVK makes an appropriate decision and draws up medical documents in the manner prescribed by law. The certificate of illness is subject to review and approval by the staff VVK.



Upon re-examination before the conclusion of the next contract, if the reservist is found to be in need of treatment, then, on the proposal of the military commissariat, the head of the TCC, he is sent for treatment to the appropriate civilian medical institution. After the end of treatment, the reservist is examined by the VVK of the military commissariat, VVK TCK.
