Belarus introduced restrictions on flights over Minsk, Brest and the south of the Minsk region, as well as partially Mogilev and Gomel regions, that is, the entire border region with Ukraine, the Belarusian Gayun told Telegram-Canada.

“According to NOTAMN O0562/22, an additional flight restriction zone has been introduced in Belarus from today, which affects Minsk, Brest, the southern half of the Minsk region and partly the Mogilev and Gomel regions,” the message says..

The new restriction will be in effect from 11 to 14 July 2022. At the same time, it does not apply to aviation of the Air Force of the Republic of Belarus, the State Border Committee of the Republic of Belarus and aircraft that fly to the National Airport "

This restriction zone is additional to the one already introduced earlier in the south of Belarus, which will be valid until October 7, 2022..

“Gayun” notes that it was in this zone that the Russian A-50 aircraft worked tonight, the task of which is to provide coordinates to fighter pilots for strikes against targets.

“All night the A-50 flew in circles from Baranovichi to Slutsk, while changing altitudes from 9150 meters to 9700 m. The plane finished work only at 04:39 and landed at the military airfield in Machulishchi at 05:10,” the channel notes..

It is also reported that during the last night, fighter jets took off into the air of Belarus, which worked in shifts with the A-50 in pairs at altitudes from 7,000 to 8,000 meters..
