In Nikolaev, an FSB agent was detained, who was preparing to correct missile strikes on the city. During the special operation, the SBU detained a resident of Nikolaev, who, in addition to reconnaissance of the deployment and movement of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the region, also collected information on critical infrastructure and defense facilities in the Black Sea regions. According to the Security Service, the data previously provided by the agent has already been used by the occupiers, at least when adjusting the mass rocket attacks on Nikolaev from June 26 to June 30.

During the searches, the agent found explosives, firearms and ammunition, Russian symbols, as well as mobile phones with evidence of criminal acts..

The attacker was detained, he was informed of suspicion on the fact of unauthorized dissemination of information about the movement and location of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The SBU also reports that the issue of electing a resident of Nikolaev a measure of restraint in the form of detention, as well as additional qualification of other episodes of his activities under h. 2 st. 111 (high treason).
