A petition on the website of the President's office to ban full-time education in schools gained more than 25,000 signatures by the end of the war.. This means that now the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has to consider the petition..

The author of the appeal is Maria Gorsheneva. She registered the petition on June 8. So, Gorsheneva gives the following arguments against the resumption of full-time education in schools:.

destruction by Russian invaders of 20% of schools and kindergartens;

the lack of bomb shelters and evacuation routes in some educational institutions, and, conversely, the presence of narrow corridors and flights of stairs;

incommensurability of responsibility. That is, 1 teacher or educator for 15 children is not enough, given that in the case of children in primary school and in kindergartens, it requires even more attention from teachers;

emotional stress. Inability to concentrate on studies when the air raid has just ended;

duration of air raids during which you must immediately go to cover. After all, the threat of rocket fire can last for several hours (How will the educational process continue Is it possible to conduct lessons in the storage for all pupils/students at the same time?

the fact that many families go abroad, as well as the fact that many have nowhere to return.

Recall that from September 1 in Ukraine they can introduce training in schools in several shifts if there is no place for all students in shelters.. According to the head of the Ministry of Education and Science Sergei Shkarlet, if there is not enough space in the shelter, in the shelter for all participants in the educational process, there is a recommendation to divide the educational process into several shifts - two shifts, for example.
