Two deputies of the Izyum city council of the Kharkiv region, a former mayor and a former law enforcement officer, began to cooperate with the Russian occupiers. This was stated by the head of the Department of Youth, Sports and Image Projects of the Izyum City Council Maxim Strelnik.

“Deputies Anatoly Fomichevsky and Yuri Kozlov, together with former police officer Vladislav Sokolov and ex-mayor Alexander Bozhkov, began cooperation with the Russian occupiers,” Strelnik wrote on Facebook.

According to him, they provide enemies with information about the location of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, convey information about local activists, entrepreneurs, military personnel of the territorial defense and members of their families..

“They collect personal data of people who remained in the city under the guise of issuing “humanitarian aid”. They also deliberately misinform the residents of Izyum, who are in the city without any means of communication, that the state and city authorities allegedly surrendered Kyiv, Kharkov and Izyum, and call on all those in the city to cooperate with the Russian occupiers,” he says..

“The actions of Anatoly Fomichevsky, Yuri Kozlov, Vladislav Sokolov and Alexander Bozhkov are without a doubt a state betrayal and these traitors will be held accountable for their actions in accordance with the laws of war,” Strelnik believes..

Strelnik also noted that Izyum has been under blockade for more than two weeks, and the northern part of the city has been occupied by Russian invaders..

The city of Izyum in the Kharkiv region was on the verge of a humanitarian catastrophe. Russian troops now control the urban sectors on the northern bank of the Seversky Donets River, which bisects Izyum. The southern part of the city is under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Fierce fighting continues in the city for a long time..

Intensive attacks by Russian invaders have destroyed a large part of the city, and new satellite images show the extent of the destruction.
